This medium-sized blender is pinched at the base so it's thicker on one angle compared to the other. This gives you flexibility in the size of the areas you can blend; on the thicker side you can blend a greater surface area, flip to the thinner side and you'll get a more precise blend. 

Use a back and forth motion to move, distribute and blend product. Use a tapping motion to build intensity of colour.
